Who We Are

A professional networking platform committed to educating, mentoring and empowering female PR professionals and students.

Launched on July 1st, 2017 with its maiden event WiPR Ghana Summit, Women in PR was established to focus on empowering, mentoring and creating opportunities for networking and career advancement for the next generation of young women in PR and Communication.

Women in Public Relations Ghana (WiPR Ghana) was founded by Ms Faith Senam Ocloo and registered in May 2017 as a not-for-profit Organization

  • Create a platform to educate, mentor and empower young PR professionals and students.
  • Offer opportunities for career advancement towards leadership roles and personal development.
  • Build a networking community of women PR professionals who inspire and support each other.
  • To bridge the gap between working professionals and the students.

Women in PR Ghana organizes periodic events aimed at strengthening the organization and its membership

Training and Seminars

Women in PR Ghana partners with recognized organizations and industry experts to provide training sessions and workshops to advance the professional qualifications of professionals and students


Women in PR seeks to bridge the gap between the working professionals and students through mentorship programmes


Women in PR develops content and publishes periodic news to update members on trending issues happening within the industry through our blog and social media pages


Women in PR with partnerships from organisations will carry out research from time to time to establish empirical basis for advocacy that advances the course of women in PR in Ghana and the world at large


We aim at representing the interest and needs of members through advocacy and lobbying relevant organizations for adequate support for professionals
